The Buffalo State chapter of Women in Technology (WIT) invites you to help create a one-of-a-kind cookbook that blends culinary creativity with the spirit of technology.
Inspired by Buffalo State alumnus, ’17, winner of season 5 of Next Level Chef, this project celebrates the connections between innovation, problem-solving, and the recipes that bring people together.
Unlike a traditional cookbook, each submitted recipe will be paired with a technology-inspired element created by the WIT Committee, such as flowcharts, coding concepts, technology-themed graphics, and illustrations. This is a cookbook where creativity, culture, and community collaborate on every page.
Don’t cook? That’s okay! You don't need to be a chef or even a cook to participate. WIT is looking for recipes, memories, and ethnic or cultural dishes that share stories from across the SUNY community.
The cookbook cover is being created by Buffalo State student Delphine Brodowski and alumna Grace Villanueva, ’26. Under the guidance of Buffalo State professor and published illustrator Andrew Garrity, they are developing a design that reflects the cookbook’s unique blend of food, technology, and community.
