Dion Dawkins’ Buffalo ice cream favorite has 130 shakes

Turns out one of Dion Dawkins’ favorite ice cream spots in Buffalo is a hot dog stand in Orchard Park. The Bills tackle stopped by Taffy’s recently, and the photo got fans talking about the milkshake menu. One commenter summed it up perfectly: “the largest milkshake collection, or I should say selection, of any place I’ve ever seen in my life.”

That’s a big claim. But Taffy’s has been backing it up since 1949.

Taffy’s is a true Western New York classic. The Orchard Park stand has been serving char-grilled hot dogs and milkshakes for over 75 years, and on any given Friday you might spot a Bills legend or two grabbing a shake of their own. Word around town is Jim Kelly has his own go-to order, a milkshake known as Kelly Tough which is a classic vanilla + pb + hot fudge combo. He even signed the menu next to his milkshake!
