Lancaster’s Ethan Kowalski and Depew’s Logan Schwartz have been selected to the Great American Rivalry Series Scholar Athlete Hall of Fame.
Kowalski and Schwartz each play the offensive and defensive lines for their schools.
They were among 25 players selected through a nationwide voting process from a field of 144 scholar athletes. Each of the 144 athletes received a $500 scholarship; members of the team receive an additional scholarship and a plaque. Athletes are recognized for their achievements on the field and in the classroom.
The Scholar Athlete Hall of Fame Team is a partnership between the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Great American Rivalry Series. The U.S. Marine Corps is one of the initial presenting partners.
