The Randolph girls basketball team defeated Union Springs 45-40 on Saturday, March 18, 2023, to advance to the state championship game.

Skylar Herrington (13 points), scored six of the team’s 12 fourth-quarter points. Senior Kyra Pence played closer, scoring the team’s final five points, leading Randolph (21-4) to a 45-40 victory over Union Springs.
Lancaster received four of the six first-place votes in the large schools rankings, with Nichols receiving two.Â
