Letter: News should have endorsed McMurray, as it once did

The NY-27 race matters. The Buffalo News endorsed Nate McMurray last time and say he’s even stronger now. He can be seen everywhere in our huge district, as he makes it his business to travel the district and know the local people; he has the pulse of NY-27. McMurray is a gun owner, will protect health care, fight for farms and small business.

No one knows who Chris Jacobs is, except for family wealth, even after $500,000 in Trump style ads since April. Money helps, but it’s not everything. Take Jacobs at his word.

Jacobs tells us he wants to be a water boy for Donald Trump, the bullying, “law and order president,” who cut a long list of over 30 of our environmental protections. We should already know this Trump-endorsed New York State Senator.
