If I thought he would get and read it, my letter to Donald Trump would go something like this:
Dear Mr. President,
The coronavirus is raging in the United States. The number of infections, hospitalizations and deaths continue to set records. Hospitals are near dangerous capacity and health care workers are exhausted. Businesses are collapsing and closing. More and more people are losing their jobs, struggling to feed their families, and many now face the real possibility of eviction from their homes.
All this is happening while you pout, play golf, broadcast false claims of massive voter fraud and file frivolous lawsuits lacking any evidence of irregular voting policies or procedures.
Given your lack of attention to your job, it seems appropriate now, to invoke the famous phrase “Lead, follow, or get out of the way.”
You haven’t led; you refuse to follow any good advice you are given; so, do the country a favor and get out of the way.
Thank you and have a nice day.
