MAUGER - Edward Arthur Was born in Buffalo, NY, on December 24, 1941. He passed away on April, 1, 2020, in Philadelphia, PA, with his family at his bedside. Ed had two great careers. He first worked as an Associate Dean at Rutgers University for 26 years. Then he founded The Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides and was eventually called "America's Best Tour Guide" by the Chicago Tribune and USA Today. He authored four books about Philadelphia history and appeared on PBS, the History Channel and Good Morning America. Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Julianne Baird, sons Christopher Mauger (Miki), David Mauger (Elyse), Luke Peyton (Natalie) and daughter Jessica Stewart (Jason). He is also survived by his sister Annette Williams (Kenneth) and brothers Robert Mauger (Margaret) and Richard Mauger (Louise); sister Marlene Mauger is deceased; survived by grandchildren Sofia and Nadia Mauger. Ed will always be remembered for his love of his family. Edward Mauger's full accomplished life will be celebrated in a Memorial in Philadelphia at a time when social distancing rules are relaxed.
