Victoria Principal said it's time to put an end to rumors about why she doesn't have children.
"I have always been reticent, and I know there have been rumors that I didn't have children because of my vanity. I didn't have children because I can't have children," the former "Dallas" star told TV Guide magazine in the Oct. 2 issue.
She didn't explain further. "It was the luck of the draw. . . . It is a loss," she said.
But the actress said she takes comfort in her two stepchildren from husband Dr. Harry Glassman's first marriage. She and Glassman, a plastic surgeon, were married in 1985.
Principal, 43, also has faced rumors that she got professional help with her looks by marrying a plastic surgeon.
"When I married my husband, was I a dog?" she asked.
