The YMCA's annual Turkey Trot will look a little different this year, with a much smaller in-person gathering and much of the race virtual, but that doesn't mean you have to skip out on one of the best Western New York Thanksgiving traditions: Seeing all the wacky costumes on

So with Thanksgiving now officially two weeks away, we're asking you to send us your favorite Turkey Trot photo from over the years. To be considered, please email your photos to Qina Liu at, including the following information by no later than Monday, Nov. 23 (that gives you roughly a week and a half to dig through those old photo albums):

• Your first and last name for photo credit

• The first and last name and hometown of who's featured in the photo

• What costume they're dressed as

• The year the photo was taken

We may publish some of these images on on Thanksgiving Day, when we normally feature photos of the race.

Here are a few of our favorite photos that we've taken over the years.
