Buffalo man injured in overnight shooting

A 32-year-old Buffalo man was struck by gunfire early Saturday morning near Genesee and Erb streets.

The man was transported by civilian vehicle to the Erie County Medical Center and was listed in stable condition, police spokesman Michael J. DeGeorge said in an email to The Buffalo News.

Police responded to the call just before 3:45 a.m. and are continuing to investigate.
