Gov. Cuomo's youngest daughter is getting married next month and the wedding reception will be held at the Executive Mansion, aides said Friday.
Madeline Cuomo will wed Brian John O'Donoghue on June 12 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany followed by a reception on the mansion grounds next to the church.
Family members will pay for the wedding and the reception, a spokesman said.
Madeline Cuomo, 28, is an attorney at the Shea & Gould law firm in New York City. O'Donoghue, 29, is a former New York City firefighter and a student at Fordham University's law school. That's where Christopher Cuomo, the governor's youngest child, is also studying. O'Donoghue is a son of State Supreme Court Justice James O'Donoghue.
Madeline's sister Maria also had her reception at the Executive Mansion when she married shoe designer Kenneth Cole in October 1987. Cuomo's oldest son, Andrew, married Kerry Kennedy, daughter of the late Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, in 1990. The governor and his wife Matilda have five children. Their oldest, Dr. Margaret Perpignano, is also married.
