John H. Walker Jr. and Darryl A. Boyd insist they were wrongly convicted 43 years ago of murdering and robbing William Crawford, 62, in the victim’s Fillmore Avenue driveway. Crawford was killed after leaving a nearby tavern on Jan. 2, 1976. And the main witness against them told The Buffalo News that he gave false statements and testimony because of threats and intimidation from Buffalo Police homicide detectives.
