Former Buffalo police officer Cedric Holloway announces run for Common Council

Cedric Holloway spent more than 30 years in the Buffalo Police Department and two decades as a youth mentor. But at 57, he's never held a role in government. On Saturday surrounded by friends and supporters, Holloway announced that he will run for the Ellicott District seat on the Buffalo Common Council. The seat is being vacated by Rev. Darius Pridgen, who served the district for 12 years.
