Day 94: April 4, 2021 - St. Stanislaus Bishop & Martyr Church Buffalo held their Blessing of the Baskets (Święconka), service. Bishop Michael Fisher blessed the baskets and then sprinkled the baskets with holy water using a straw brush. Traditionally baskets are brought up front, but because of Covid, everyone stayed in their seats and the Bishop walked through the church sprinkling the baskets.

Statler was a model of luxury but eventually fell victim to the city's economic struggles after the '70s and '80s and closed in 1984. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations by new owner Douglas Development.
