Add Guillermo del Toro to the list of celebrities who have stopped by Chef's Restaurant.

Chef's posted about the Oscar winner's visit Thursday afternoon: "Academy Award winning director Guillermo del Toro stopped by for a meal! Winning the Best Director category is a huge accomplishment. He is such a talented individual and we were happy to welcome him in."

Second only to the "Why is Guillermo del Toro in Buffalo?" question is – did he get his spaghetti parmed?

No doubt owner Louis Billittier Jr. will have del Toro's photo on the famous picture wall in no time.

The filmmaker must have some affinity for Buffalo since his 2015 film "Crimson Peak" was set here.

Del Toro was in New York City earlier this week to present a new clip for his upcoming film "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark." He won two Academy Awards in 2018 for "The Shape of Water," including Best Director.
