Liz Lewin, a former WKBW-TV (Channel 7) anchor-reporter, is joining WGRZ-TV (Channel 2) as a multi-skilled journalist.
Born and raised in Buffalo, Lewin starts Aug. 3 and will work on Channel 2’s nightside team Sunday through Thursday.
She announced the move Wednesday on social media.
Lewin left Channel 7 after a few years in the summer of 2018 to become the weekend morning anchor and reporter at WILX-TV in Lansing, Mich.
She returned to Buffalo in 2019 to become a public relations manager at the Martin Group.
Besides working in television, Lewin was a communication specialist in the office of Mayor Byron Brown.
