Liz Lewin, former Channel 7 anchor-reporter, joins Ch.2

Liz Lewin, a former WKBW-TV (Channel 7) anchor-reporter, is joining WGRZ-TV (Channel 2) as a multi-skilled journalist.

Born and raised in Buffalo, Lewin starts Aug. 3 and will work on Channel 2’s nightside team Sunday through Thursday.

She announced the move Wednesday on social media.

Lewin left Channel 7 after a few years in the summer of 2018 to become the weekend morning anchor and reporter at WILX-TV in Lansing, Mich.

She returned to Buffalo in 2019 to become a public relations manager at the Martin Group.

Besides working in television, Lewin was a communication specialist in the office of Mayor Byron Brown.
