Perks Café will be opening an expanded version of its café in the Horsefeathers Building on Connecticut Street.

The space at 346 Connecticut St. was previously Lait Cru Brasserie.

The sandwiches, coffee, salads and shakes at its current 448 Elmwood Ave. location will be joined by expanded brunch and alcohol options, Julie Leone, Perks’ director of operations, said in a release.

“The new space will allow for us to continue to expand on our current concept, while introducing beer, ciders and wine,” Leone said. “We also plan to expand on our breakfast and brunch items with introduction of pancakes, french toast and a dessert bar featuring our new line of vegan ice cream.”

If all goes well, she said, Perks’ Horsefeathers site should be open for the Oct. 27 Artisan Market.
