Vic Carucci: Bills follow 'The Process' to easy win for first AFC East title in 25 years
Inside the Bills' locker room Saturday night in Denver, an emotional Sean McDermott told his players they could do anything they wanted to do as long as they "stay humble and hungry."
"Four years to make it right here, baby!" McDermott yelled and his voice cracked a little.
McDermott arrived in Buffalo four years ago next month for his first NFL head coaching gig. He was wide-eyed and full of cliches. Well, one in particular. He was all about "The Process."
He was paired with new General Manager Brandon Beane before his first season got started, and now the two are married to the Bills for long-term deals.
And on days like Saturday, all that talk about "The Process" and believing in what they were building seemed like it actually meant something.
