The Hotel Henry is located in the 145-year-old Richardson Olmsted Campus. Construction began in 1872 and opened in 1880 as the Buffalo State Asylum for the Insane. Hotel Henry is the first phase of the redevelopment of the Richardson Olmsted Campus, which recently won the most prestigious award given by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
