Shone Gipson, who spent more than 15 years with the Bills, has been named the New Orleans Saints' athletic trainer, NOLA.com reported.
Gipson was the Bills' head athletic trainer from 2016-2018 after beginning with the organization in 2002 as a seasonal employee and working his way up.
Gipson was let go by the Bills in February 2018 at the same time as longtime trainer Bud Carpenter's retirement after 33 years with the organization. Gipson spent the last two seasons with the Cleveland Browns as assistant athletic trainer.
Gipson began with the Saints this month and replaces Scottie Patten, who had been the Saints' trainer for 20 years.
