New Yorkers deserve a full accounting of how the State spends taxpayer dollars, including in the midst of a public health crisis that has us spending rapidly in order to save lives.
That’s why the governor launched NYOpenGovernment.com in 2013. This one-stop database provides the public information on executed contracts, including who they are executed with, their value, and how much has been spent against them. This puts all of our decisions on spending – and who we are spending with – on full public display to anyone who wants to review them.
Contracts related to our efforts to contain the spread of Covid-19 and protect New Yorkers, in particular the essential workers who have put their lives on the line, are available through this portal.
We have moved quickly to react to the sudden and pressing public health crisis that we continue to navigate. The full accounting of our actions is already available. We invite you, and anyone else, to give them a good hard look.
