General Motors donates $80,000 to Covid-19 response

General Motors is making $80,000 in grants to Western New York to support Covid-19 response.

GM's Town of Tonawanda engine plant is giving $50,000 to the WNY Covid-19 Community Response Fund. GM's Lockport components plant is giving $30,000 to the United Way of Greater Niagara, to ensure the 29 agencies it funds receive financial support for their services.

The donations are part of GM's contributions of more than $2.65 million to Covid-19 response funds at 40 nonprofits serving communities where GM employees live and work.
