From fine dining to ice cream, Caribbean to Indian, takeout options are set to expand significantly for Buffalo eaters.
At least 18 restaurants will begin offering takeout, and there's a bevy of details to keep in mind.
Here's a look at the restaurants' plans, tentative hours and a glance at some of their limited menus. They are open now unless noted.
2712 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda (693-7477)
Open from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday for curbside pickup and free delivery (preferred). Depending on business, lunch hours may be added back in the future. Full menu available except slices.
800 Maple Road, East Amherst (688-5800)
Open from 4 to 8 p.m. daily with a limited takeout menu; no delivery. A nice touch: the menu lists head chef Charlie Mallie and sous chef Mike Smaldone.
581 Delaware Ave. (885-1594)
Opening April 30 with hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Takeout only, with curbside pickup (park in front of front door). Credit card payments only. Takeout menu listed online. Preorders are encouraged; phones are turned on at noon.

Aroma on Bryant

Opening April 30 with hours from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday for takeout only. Also offering dinner kits to go, focused mainly on pasta. See the takeout menu.

Opening May 1 with hours from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Takeout, curbside pickup and delivery (10 a.m. to 6 p.m., also through DoorDash, Grubhub and Postmates). Reopening coincides with Lobsterfest, featuring lobster rolls and lobster cakes for a limited time.

Manna @ the Northland Workforce Training Center

Opening May 1 with hours from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Fish fry will be on special Fridays, smoked/grilled foods like ribs and chicken on Saturdays and then Sunday Supper, featuring oxtail, will conclude the week's service. Curbside pickup from the entrance by the outdoor patio. See Manna's tentative regular takeout menu, which will be available along with the specials.
