Niagara County approaches 200 confirmed Covid-19 cases

There are 28 more confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Niagara County, county officials announced Saturday.

The new confirmed cases brings the total so far to 194. Four county residents have died from Covid-19.

There have been 50 confirmed cases in Niagara Falls, 35 in Wheatfield and 22 in North Tonawanda, according to the Niagara County Department of Health's online Covid-19 map. Nineteen cases have been confirmed in the Town of Lockport, with another 18 in the City of Lockport.

Niagara County did not provide a public update on its totals on Friday. The county reported three Covid-19-related deaths on Thursday.
