Just as unprecedented demand has overwhelmed home grocery delivery services such as Instacart, Shipt and Rosie, another one has expanded its services to the Buffalo Niagara Market.
Philadelphia-headquartered GoPuff has fast-tracked its arrival in Western New York and has opened delivery zones in the region.
GoPuff delivers groceries and home essentials for a flat $1.95 fee, but prices are generally higher. A 10.1-ounce box of Froot Loops, for example, sells for $5.99, while the same product costs $3.79 at Tops and $3.69 at Wegmans delivered via Instacart. Instacart charges a $3.99 delivery fee per order. With both services, the item prices are higher than in stores.
In addition to groceries and home essentials, GoPuff delivers chewing tobacco, vape supplies and rolling papers.
