A South Dayton man whose license was suspended eight times was arrested in the Town of Collins early Sunday and charged with driving while impaired by drugs, reported the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
Raymond Provorse, 25, faces misdemeanor counts of DWI and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Provorse was also charged with two separate vehicle and traffic law violations, deputies said.
Deputies were called to Bush Road and Dogwood Drive in the Town of Collins around 1:30 a.m. after receiving an alert from Seneca Nation marshals.
Provorse exhibited signs of impairment, deputies said, and was evaluated by a drug recognition deputy, who determined he was impaired by drugs. Deputies also discovered he had eight active suspensions on his license.
