Wyoming County man charged after allegedly injuring 2 deputies

A Wyoming County man was arrested after reportedly injuring two Wyoming County Sheriff's deputies who responded to a domestic dispute Friday, according to the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said 38-year-old Ryan J. Priel, of Bliss, was in possession of a knife and fought with deputies who arrived at the residence in the Town of Eagle.

Priel was charged with second-degree assault, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of third-degree menacing.

Priel was arraigned in Wyoming County Court and jailed in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.

He is scheduled to return to court at a later date.
