OFF THE ROAD – Another casualty of Covid-19 is driver education. AAA Western and Central New York has suspended its upcoming Defensive Driving/Driver Improvement Program and five-hour pre-licensing classes until further notice.
Students already signed up for defensive driving can take the course online. The five-hour course, however, is not available online at this time.
Some limited in-car driving lessons and driver evaluations will be done for those already registered, with proper car cleaning after each lesson. No new registrations are being accepted.
