Covid-19 patient went to U.S. Attorney's Office, not courthouse, spokeswoman says

A person in Erie County with a confirmed case of Covid-19 did not enter the federal courthouse in downtown Buffalo as earlier reported, according to a spokeswoman with the U.S. Attorney's Office.

The person did attend a meeting March 11 in the U.S. Attorney's Office on Delaware Avenue, just up the street from the Robert H. Jackson U.S. Courthouse, the spokeswoman said Thursday.

The courthouse was one of the locations county officials announced Wednesday as they unveiled more results of contact tracing by epidemiologists. Officials said the person had been at the courthouse around midday March 11.

The county has 28 confirmed cases of Covid-19 so far.
