All of the victims were occupants of a vehicle that collided with a tractor-trailer, according to an initial press release.

They were not identified pending notification of the family, the report added.

The truck driver, who also was not identified, was not injured.

Cause of the accident, which occurred at about 4:15 p.m., is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Crash Management Team.

Further information was expected Wednesday.
