Police: Woman climbs into ceiling, is arrested for violating order of protection

A Jamestown woman who allegedly violated an order of protection was arrested Thursday by Jamestown police on numerous charges and bench warrants.

Police said they responded to a call from a Charles Street address for an order of protection violation, and determined that 31-year-old Ashley Inserra was still inside the residence of the victim and protected party.

According to police, Inserra climbed into the ceiling in an attempt to elude officers, but fell through back into the apartment, and was taken into custody, without further incident.

Inserra was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where she was held pending arraignment on charges of second-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and numerous other charges and bench warrants, police said.
