Good news if you missed it last time: 'Hamilton' is coming back to Buffalo

"Hamilton" is coming back to Buffalo.

The renowned Revolutionary War musical production will return to Shea’s Buffalo Theatre from Nov. 3-22, according to Director of Marketing and Communications Kevin Sweeney.

Hamilton played to sold-out shows during its first run here in 2018.

"We're really excited – obviously it was such an incredible run in 2018," said Sweeney. "It's a groundbreaking musical, has set worldwide records, and having it back again so soon is wonderful for the whole Western New York market. We can't wait."

Shea’s subscribers were the first to get the news in a Tuesday morning email from the theater. Hamilton is part of the 2020-21 Broadway Series, Sweeney said, and subscribers will have the option to include tickets as an eighth show in their package.

More details on the musical's return to Buffalo will be made available March 3, when Shea's announces its new seasonal lineup.
