Daemen College will offer a new master of business administration program this fall to allow students to earn their MBA more quickly.
The new MBA program, approved by the State Department of Education, is a 36-credit hour program that can be completed in 12 to 18 months, rather than 24 months for most traditional programs. Courses will be a mix of both on-campus and online instruction.
The program includes concentrations in health policy and management, international business and leadership and innovation. An internship option also will be available.
The new program is in response to a growing interest among Daemen's undergraduate students and increasing demand from employers, said Torsten Doering, director of the program.
“Completing an MBA in as little as one year makes our program more affordable and will allow our students to begin their career sooner as MBA graduates,” Doering said in a prepared statement.
