The Buffalo Bills didn’t make the "Monday Night Football" schedule this season, but Saturday afternoon Bills fans will be hearing the "MNF" crew of play-by-play man Joe Tessitore and heavily criticized analyst Booger McFarland call the playoff game against the Houston Texans.
The 4:35 p.m. game is being simulcast on ESPN and Disney partner ABC, which means it will be carried locally on WKBW-TV (Channel 7).
McFarland was the solo analyst this season after Jason Witten, who also was heavily criticized, left the "MNF" booth to come back and play for the Dallas Cowboys.
While the Bills didn't have a scheduled prime time game, the MNF crew is completing a grand slam of top network teams calling Buffalo games near the end of the season.
CBS' top team of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo called the Bills' Thanksgiving Day win over Dallas, NBC's Sunday Night Football crew of Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth called the Bills playoff-clinching win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 15 and Mike Tirico and Kurt Warner were the announcers on The NFL Network coverage of the Bills' Dec. 21 loss to the New England Patriots.
