Report: Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll to interview with Browns

Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is expected to interview for the Cleveland Browns' head coaching job, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Monday night.

The report did not indicate when the interview could take place.

The Browns fired Freddie Kitchens after one season Sunday after the Browns finished a disappointing 6-10 amid high expectations.

Daboll, who has been with the Bills for two seasons, was the Browns' offensive coordinator in 2009 and 2010, leading an offense that struggled but also was devoid of much talent.

He won five Super Bowl rings as an assistant coach with the New England Patriots and a national title as the offensive coordinator at Alabama before returning home to Buffalo.

The Bills’ offense under Daboll has improved in his second season but ranks 24th in the league in yards and 23rd in points.
