'Shoplifting blitz' nets four at Falls Walmart

Four suspects were arrested in separate incidents as police staged a “shoplifting blitz” at the Walmart Supercenter, 1540 Military Road, Niagara Falls, according to reports.

Charged with petit larceny on the weekend before Christmas were Farron E. Henwood, 28, of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Niagara Falls; Tyler Lambert, 25, of Buffalo; and Julie Brandon, 24, of 78th Street, Niagara Falls. Charged with petit larceny on Saturday was Cheyenne E. Banks, 25, of Expressway Village, Niagara Falls. Henwood and Lambert also were charged with fifth-degree possession of stolen property.

Police said Henwood was accused of failing to scan 27 items valued at nearly $265. Lambert was accused of taking seven items valued at about $198. Brandon allegedly scanned alternative bar codes for 18 items valued at $146. Banks is accused of stealing five items with a value of about $55.
