Bills sit Tre'Davious White, several other starters against Jets

The Buffalo Bills are resting starters, after all.

Cornerback Tre'Davious White, running back Devin Singletary, tight end Dawson Knox and wide receivers John Brown and Cole Beasley are among the team's inactive players for Sunday's regular-season finale against the New York Jets at New Era Field. All of those players are healthy, meaning coach Sean McDermott is electing to rest them ahead of the team's wild-card playoff game next weekend.

The other two inactive players are injured: Wide receiver Andre Roberts (foot) and defensive end Shaq Lawson (hamstring).

Quarterback Josh Allen is active, although he is not expected to play the entire game. Allen would likely have been active anyway, because the Bills carry just two quarterbacks on the 53-man roster. Backup quarterback Matt Barkley will also play for the Bills.

Right tackle Ty Nsekhe is also active after missing the past six games with an ankle injury. He was listed as questionable on the final injury report.
