An Orchard Park father was hit with a slew of charges after he allegedly rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped in traffic Friday evening, Orchard Park police said.
At about 5 p.m. Friday, town police were called to a two-car accident on North Freeman Road near East Quaker Street. Police determined that Thomas P. Quinn, 35, of Orchard Park had been driving a black Audi that rear-ended a second car. Quinn's 3-year-old son was in his vehicle at the time, police said.
Quinn failed field sobriety tests and when a police officer was attempting to administer a breath test at the scene, police said, Quinn exposed himself and urinated in the roadway in the direction of the police officer.
Quinn was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, failure to submit to a breath test, following too closely, public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child. He posted bail and was released. The child was released to the custody of a family member.
