Casting: Extras are needed for locally made feature film

A new feature film being shot in the Buffalo area is looking for a large number of background extras.

"Prick'd" will be shot in Buffalo and Niagara Falls, N.Y., from Nov. 19 to Dec. 11.

Men and women of all ethnicities are wanted as background extras playing club goers, a wedding party, wedding attendees and pedestrians. While the filmmakers are seeking extras ages 18 to 70, there is a special need for those in their 20s and 30s.

The work hours are a minimum of six hours up to a maximum of 12 hours. There is a small compensation with meals provided.

Anyone interested should email the following information:

• Full name, height, age, cellphone number and preferred email address.

• Two photos of yourself: a head and shoulders photo (typical headshot) and a head-to-toe photo. Both can be taken with a cellphone in good lighting, indoors.

• Statement providing your availability to be an extra. Note that it can't be part of the day; it must be approximately from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• List any previous experience as background extra or in another capacity in a movie, TV, commercial or video production.
