Buffalo woman who sold fentanyl sentenced to 8 months in prison

A Buffalo woman who was convicted of distribution of fentanyl was sentenced Monday in federal court to serve eight months in prison by U.S. District Court Judge Richard J. Arcara, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy C. Lynch said 27-year-old Yuminique Toney sold two grams of fentanyl and 14 grams of crack cocaine to undercover law enforcement in May 2018.

The case was investigated by special agents from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
