See how local private, public schools performed in math, English
Below are the proficiency rates in math and ELA for every private, public and charter school in Erie and Niagara counties, grouped by district. Private and charter schools are grouped by the school district in which they are geographically located.
The Buffalo News aggregated the results from all of the grades in which students took the ELA or math assessment in each school to calculate an overall proficiency rate in each subject at each school. This is the same method the state uses when reporting overall proficiency scores for public schools or districts. Assessment results are shown by the percentage of students deemed proficient in English language arts and math. Students are scored on a scale of 1 to 4, with students scoring 3 or 4 considered proficient.
