There will also be a variety of other giveaways, including remastered heavyweight vinyl editions of each of the featured albums.

The ongoing monthly Gusto Vinyl Happy Hour series features a classic album from one the great forms of American music, and includes an educational discussion and performance from local musicians. It is hosted by Miers and 97 Rock DJ Anita West.

"What started as a simple desire to celebrate the continued relevance of vinyl records has developed into a consistently well-attended series that provides a forum for listening and discussion of some of the most iconic albums in the history of recorded music," Miers said. "It simultaneously exults in the depth of the Buffalo music community talent pool by curating groups of musicians to perform an iconic album in full."

The regular Gusto Vinyl Happy Hour series is continuing at the Sportsmen's Tavern. The Best of Gusto Vinyl Happy Hour, Vol. 1 is a one-time, special celebration being held at The Cave.
