Albright-Knox launches Art Truck

The Albright-Knox Art Gallery – with the help of North Tonawanda Intermediate School students – launched a new Art Truck that will make the rounds of schools, libraries, parks and senior citizen centers throughout Western New York.

The Art Truck was made possible by a gift from BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, museum officials said.

Meanwhile, students from North Tonawanda Intermediate enhanced the truck's blue wrapping – by adding hundreds of stickers in various sizes and shapes, in preparation for its first stop.

The Art Truck will make its debut from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Community Market in the Delavan-Grider Community Center, 877 East Delavan Ave.
