One man was in custody and another man was taken to Erie County Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, after a midday stabbing Wednesday in the heart of downtown Buffalo, Buffalo Police reported.
Police spokesman Michael DeGeorge said the two men knew one another and a dispute between them led to the stabbing, which occurred just after 12:15 p.m. at Main and Court streets.
Niagara Frontier Transit Authority Police located the individual and took him into custody a short time after the incident, Buffalo Police said.
BPD is on scene at Main and Court street where an individual was stabbed. NFTA officers were able to locate the suspect and he is currently in custody. The victim is enroute to ECMC.
