The Rath Building except for the ninth, 10th and 11th floors will reopen to the public at 10:30 a.m., Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz tweeted.
The building has been closed since an electrical panel on the ninth floor caught fire early Friday morning, according to Poloncarz.
Power has been restored to all floors except the ninth, 10th and 11th. All employees are to report except for those who work on those three floors, the county executive said.
The offices of departments of health, environment and planning, the comptroller's office and legal advocacy for the disabled, which are located on the floors that remain closed, will be closed for the day.
UPDATE ON RATH BUILDING: all floors other than 9, 10, and 11 have full power and are operational. The building will re-open to the public at 10:30 except for those 3 floors. All employees are to report except for those that work on those 3 floors. 1/2 pic.twitter.com/5VU1O2LZuy
