2 arrested as Buffalo Police stop robbery in progress

Officers on patrol stopped a robbery in progress and arrested two suspects about 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the first block of Richmond Avenue, Buffalo Police reported.

Apprehended after a short chase and charged with first-degree robbery and obstructing governmental administration were Keon Walker and Lester Santiago, no ages or addresses given.

Police said the robbery victim told them the two suspects asked him for a ride and when he parked the car, one of them pulled a knife and demanded his keys, money and phone.
