The Milwaukee Bucks are signing St. Bonaventure product Jaylen Adams to compete in training camp, according to ESPN.
Adams was waived by the Atlanta Hawks after he struggled in the NBA Summer League last month in Las Vegas. He averaged 9.2 points and 2.8 assists in 28.1 minutes in four games but shot just 25 percent from the field and 17.6 percent from three-point range.
He spent last season with the Atlanta Hawks and their G-League affiliate in Erie, Pa. With the Hawks, Adams averaged 3.2 points in 12.6 minutes in 34 games. He appeared in 19 games with Erie and averaged 14.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists.
The Hawks converted Adams' two-way deal in February to an NBA contract and he remained with Atlanta for the rest of the season.
