The Buffalo Sabres have dubbed it the Golden Jersey.
The team announced its alternate jersey for the 2019-20 season through a Twitter video Friday morning, and the white sweater with gold striping will be worn for 13 dates during the 50th anniversary season.
The crossed swords crest will be displayed in fluorescent gold and navy blue, rather than white and blue. Five stripes — one representing each of the franchise's decades — are embroidered on both sleeves as well as the jersey's bottom. Four are gold and one wider one is in blue.

Two unique features of the uniform are an inner neckline to the sweater that features logos from throughout the team's history and white gloves that will be worn for the first time in franchise history. They are similar to those that have been worn the last two years by the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Sabres will wear the 50th anniversary uniform for their home opener Oct. 5 against New Jersey in KeyBank Center. It will also be worn Nov. 2 vs. the New York Islanders, Nov. 29 vs. Toronto, Dec. 2 vs. New Jersey, Dec. 12 vs. Nashville, Dec. 27 vs. Boston, Jan. 30 vs. Montreal, Feb. 6 vs. Detroit, Feb. 13 vs. Columbus, March 5 vs. Pittsburgh, March 21 vs. Chicago, March 22 vs the New York Rangers, and on Fan Appreciation Night, April 4, against Philadelphia.
The 50th anniversary jersey will be on display outside the Sabres Store during the team's FanFest on Saturday.
The Sabres announced Friday they will be switching their primary jersey from navy blue to royal blue for the 2020-21 season.
