TONS OF FUN – The third annual Pendleton Farm and Home Days kicks off at 4 p.m. Friday in Pendleton Town Park, 6570 Campbell Road, with a car, truck and bike cruise, a pie-baking contest, the Prince of Pendleton Contest for boys, a “Honeymoon Game” for couples and music by the A-List Band.
Festivities resume at 11 a.m. Saturday with a schedule that includes a Pendleton Portage Bike Tour in the morning along the Erie Canal, a Princess of Pendleton contest for girls, a Pendleton’s Got Talent contest, cow chip Bingo, a petting zoo, music by Nerds Gone Wild and fireworks prior to closing at 11 p.m.
Both days will feature rides by Mobile Mountain Entertainment, a craft and vendor show, food trucks and a beer tent. For more info, visit the Pendleton Farm & Home Days page on Facebook.

TUNED UP – Musicians from across the state will perform on six stages Saturday and Sunday as Genesee Country Village and Museum in Mumford hosts a Fiddlers’ Fair. Workshops on both days will include instructions in Irish fiddling, hammered dulcimer and trick fiddling.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days, with an after-hours concert from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday by the award-winning duo of Koehler & Kelly. Fiddlers can join in with them at their afternoon rehearsal.
Students and amateurs of all ages and skill levels who come with their instruments will get free admission for the day and can sign up for stage time. Tickets are $10 and are available for a $2 discount in advance at gcv.org.

The Hutchinson Central Technical High School Class of 1969 will hold its 50th year reunion from 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 27 in the restored lobby ballroom of Shea’s Seneca Theatre, 2178 Seneca St. Cost is $50 for alumni, $40 for spouses, and includes dinner, hors d’oeuvres and a gift.
