Looking back at Woodstock, 50 years later

Next week will mark a half-century since hundreds of thousands of people descended on a farm in Bethel for a concert.

We now know that the concert, which came to be known as Woodstock, became much more than that.

Watch as three News staffers who together have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of music and popular culture discuss why we are still fascinated by Woodstock in 2019.

Longtime Buffalo News Arts Editor Jeff Simon, who was there; the first rock music critic at The News, Dale Anderson, who could have been there but didn't go; and current News Pop Music Critic Jeff Miers gathered for a roundtable discussion on the seminal event in music history.
